Prayer Request
It is November 11th in Northern Arizona. It’s been another exquisite day of sunny and 65 degrees. The sun is setting now and directing its remaining energy at Humphrey’s Peak (the highest point in Arizona at 12,633 ft.). At times it appears as though the sun is inside the mountain setting it aglow. Perhaps it is somewhat illustrative of the position that Canyon Ministries is in right now. We daily experience the presence and empowering of God’s Spirit lighting a fire within us to serve His kingdom with excellence and integrity.
To that end, we request your prayers this week. Friday and Saturday we will have a booth at the Answers in Genesis Creation Museum in Northern Kentucky during their two-day college expo. We are seeking to encourage and equip college students through a college specific river trip in July of 2014. This expo will give us great opportunities to connect with colleges and students alike. Please pray that we are able to make strong connections with people that we can partner with in this ministry and perhaps even have a couple students sign up for the trip.
