Master Books Comes to the Grand Canyon

Recently I had the amazing opportunity to spend the day giving a tour to 21 members of the Pratt family. If you don’t know Randy and Kristen Pratt, you should. They and most of their family are involved in various ways in the publishing company Master Books, which published the books our founder, Tom Vail, helped put together.

These include Grand Canyon, A Different View, and the True North Series guide books for Grand Canyon, Zion and Bryce Canyons, and Yellowstone and Grand Tetons.

All four of these books are available from our website, or as add-ons to your Grand Canyon tour with us. In fact, when you book a tour with us, your group receives a free copy of the True North Grand Canyon guidebook. Master Books has also published much of what you might find coming from Answers in Genesis, as well as a vast supply of leading Christian home school and apologetics material. Their contribution to the world of Christian books and material has been monumental.

While standing on the rim of the Grand Canyon, Randy and I got to share about our connection to Master Books, and the history of our two organizations. Nate Loper

Nate is the Executive Director of Canyon Ministries. He has been leading trips and tours throughout the Southwest for more than 20 years, and has around 1,000 days guiding and teaching in the Grand Canyon National Park. Over the years, he has also guided multi-day trips to various National Parks in the west, as well as creation science and biblical archaeology tours through natural history museums and sites around the world.
